Music is an aesthetic tool to open up an individual’s mind. During the process of student’s growth, it helps to create, learn and solve problems. We hope to provide the students with a quality music education to facilitate their all-round development.
The Music curriculum aims:
1. To nurture aesthetic sensitivity and cultural understandings;
2. To develop music skills, construct knowledge in music, and cultivate positive values and attitudes;
3. To gain enjoyment and satisfaction through participating in music activities; and
4. To pursue a life-long interest in and the valuing of music.
Joining school music activities enhances their concentration, confidence and cooperation. Our students also participate in public performances as well as various competitions. Talent Quest, in –class performance and Art Week performance also provide opportunities for students to perform.
